Bible Boost gives you a fresh Bible verse each day, tailored to how you're feeling or what you need.
Your first verse
- When you open the app, you'll see today's verse
- Tap a theme chip (like "Peace" or "Courage") to get a verse that matches your mood
- Tap New Verse to get a different verse on the same theme
- Tap Save to keep verses you love
You don't need an account to start using Bible Boost, but signing up lets you save more verses and access them anywhere.

Themes help you find verses that speak to what you're going through right now. We have themes across a range of life's moments.

🔔 Daily Reminders
Get a gentle nudge each day to spend time with God's word. Daily reminder emails help you build a consistent devotional habit.
How to enable daily reminders
- Go to your Profile (tap Profile in the bottom tab bar)
- Find the "Daily Reminder" section
- Toggle on "Send me a daily reminder"
- Choose your preferred time (in UTC)
- Tap Save
Good to know:
- • Available to all registered users (free and premium)
- • Reminder times are in UTC timezone
- • One-click unsubscribe link in every email
- • We'll never spam you — just one gentle reminder per day
🙏 Prayer Wall
A calm, supportive space where you can share what's on your heart, pray for others, and be prayed for.
How it works
- Tap "Ask for Prayer" to share a prayer request
- Choose a category (Health, Family, Work, Anxiety, Grief, Gratitude, or Other)
- Write your request (up to 500 characters)
- Choose to post with your name or anonymously
- Others can tap "I prayed" to let you know they've prayed for you
Categories
When your prayer is answered
Tap "Praise - Prayer Answered!" on your request to celebrate with the community. Your request will stay visible with a green badge so others can rejoice with you.
Good to know:
- • Available to all registered users (free and premium)
- • Prayer requests are visible for 30 days
- • You can post with your name or stay anonymous
- • No exact prayer counts are shown — just warm messages
- • You can delete your own requests at any time

- Go to your Profile (tap Profile in the bottom tab bar)
- Find the "Audio Language" section
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown
- Tap Save Language
Good to know:
- • Premium feature — upgrade to access
- • The devotional text stays in English
- • Audio is translated and spoken in your chosen language
- • Your name is still used in the personalised greeting
👤 Account & Subscription
Change password: Go to Profile → Change Password
Manage subscription: Go to Profile → Manage Subscription (opens Stripe billing portal)
Cancel subscription: You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. You'll keep access until the end of your paid period.
Refund policy: You have a 14-day cooling-off period after your first subscription. After that, contact us at support@bibleboost.app.

How gifting works:
- Go to your Profile and tap "Gift a Subscription"
- Enter the recipient's email and an optional personal message
- Complete the $36 payment
- They'll receive an email with a link to claim their gift
- They follow 3 simple steps: Create Account → Verify Email → Activate Premium
Tip: Let them know to check their spam folder and click "Activate My Premium Access" to complete the process.
Good to know:
- • Only Premium members can gift subscriptions
- • Gift recipients have 30 days to claim their gift
- • If they're already Premium, it extends their subscription
- • You can track if your gift was redeemed on the gift page

How it works:
- Choose your group size and complete the payment
- You'll receive a shareable link for your group
- Share the link with your church or community members
- Each person follows 3 simple steps: Create Account → Verify Email → Activate Premium
- They get a full year of Premium access!
Tip: Remind recipients to check their spam folder for the verification email and to click "Activate My Premium Access" after verifying.
Managing your group:
- • Track redemptions from your Group Dashboard
- • See how many spots are used and remaining
- • Get email notifications when someone joins
- • Give your group a custom name (e.g., "St Mary's Church")

Which Bible translation do you use?
We use the World English Bible (WEB), a modern public domain translation that's easy to understand.
Can I use Bible Boost offline?
Some features are cached for offline use, but you'll need an internet connection for new verses and devotionals.
How do I use voice input in the journal?
Tap the microphone icon in the journal entry box. Speak your thoughts and they'll be transcribed. Tap again to stop. Works best in Chrome or Safari.
How do I share a verse?
Tap the Share button below any verse. On mobile, this opens your device's share menu. On desktop, it copies to clipboard.
How do I send a blessing to someone?
Premium users can tap the Bless button below any verse. You can either Copy Link to share via WhatsApp, text message, or any app — or send directly by email. On mobile, tapping "Share Link" opens your device's share menu. Recipients don't need an account to view the blessing. You can send up to 3 blessings per day.
What does "Read surrounding verses" do?
This shows you the verses before and after the current verse, so you can read it in context. You can also tap "Read Full Chapter" to browse the entire chapter, navigate between chapters, and tap any verse to get a devotional for it.
What is the Prayer Wall?
The Prayer Wall is a community space where you can share prayer requests and pray for others. You can post with your name or anonymously, and others can tap "I prayed" to let you know they've prayed for you. Requests stay visible for 30 days, and you can mark your prayer as answered to celebrate with the community. Available to all registered users.
